Eco-building has increased vastly over the past few years. Eco friendly building is a combination of environmentally friendly materials while minimizing energy intake through design.
During the design process measures can be taken to reduce the overall energy requirement of the building, air tight construction, passive solar heat, heat recovery and selection of building materials.
We are pleased to have been involved with a number of projects that made extensive use of eco-friendly materials such as, sheep wool, hemp, cellulose fibre, straw bales, eco-slates and lime mortars.
